My EYE bag PDF pattern is an Intermediate level sewing pattern. If you are NEW to sewing bags, please start with Easy Zipper Cases or Essential Oils travel case patterns in my shop.

This pattern walks you through sewing a vinyl version with pattern pieces to print out, a video walk-through, and lots of tips throughout. Pattern includes digital illustrations with a few photos sprinkled in for easy-on-the-eyes viewing.

Bag measures approximately 

22" at widest point x 12" high x 5" deep.

Vinyl shown, but can be made with fabric as well. Note vinyl bag has fabric top and bottom panels interfaced with foam.

Zipper opening along entire top section for easy viewing inside.

SUPPLIES: 

Handbag Zipper 28” length (I like double pull tab zips best for this pattern.)
VINYL (black) 1 full roll 18” x 54”
VINYL (white) 1/2 roll 18” x 27”
OR fabric 1 yard black and one yard white
Lining 1 yard
Foam interfacing (I like Soft & Stable) 1 pack 18” x 36” for vinyl bag, 36” x 54” for fabric bag.
SF101 fusible interfacing 2 yards if you have 20” width (most commonly sold).

*You may substitute your preferred interfacing, but know the finished bag might not look the same in regards to firmness. Experiment and have fun!

Tools needed for vinyl sewing: Teflon sewing foot, Wonder Clips, Goddess Pressing Sheet if sewing vinyl, chrome needle.

Use All-Purpose thread (I prefer Gutermann for vinyl sewing), not cotton thread as it tends to break more easily.
